RACHEL QUAINTANCE

Rachel Quaintance grew up outside of Fargo, ND and received a degree in theatre from Emerson College in Boston.  Soon after moving to Los Angeles, she became a regular sketch player on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. She and her husband, John, produced and performed in Die Laughing, a stand-up show that ran monthly at both Luna Park and The Comedy Store.  They also wrote, produced and starred in several sketch shows that ran at The Acme Theatre, one of which, John & Rachel’s Fake Variety Show sold to 20th TV for pilot development.

 

Rachel was featured in  MTV’s Zach Stone is Gonna be Famous, and other recurring roles include NBC’s Will & Grace and Joey, ABC’s Notes from the Underbelly, Nickelodeon’s Big Time Rush, and Cartoon Network’s Out of Jimmy’s Head. She has also guested on Ben and KateEntourageThe MiddleCSI: MiamiCold CaseNew Adventures of Old Christine90210, and Comedy Bang! Bang! Rachel recently appeared with Michael Chiklis and Adrienne Brody in the indie feature, High School. She co-hosted four seasons of AMC’s Movies at our House as well as having hosted numerous pilots for Comedy Central, VH1 and TV Guide Channel.  Rachel is a longtime series regular commentator on VH1's popular I Love the… series. 

 

An accomplished singer and dancer, Rachel enjoys putting on shows in her living room for whoever will listen.
