NICOLE PARKER

A staple in the theater world, Nicole Parker made her Broadway debut alongside Martin Short in “MARTIN SHORT: FAME BECOMES ME.” Also on Broadway, she played 'Elphaba' in "WICKED" and starred in “THE PEOPLE IN THE PICTURE” with Donna Murphy. She won an Ovation Award for Best Actress playing ‘Fanny Brice’ in “FUNNY GIRL” at 3-D Theatricals. Most recently, she played ‘Celine Dion’ in the off-Broadway hit “TITANIQUE," ‘Ursula’ in “THE LITTLE MERMAID” in St Louis at the MUNY and recently appeared as ‘Mae’ in the musical REEFER MADNESS in Hollywood, produced by Kristen Bell & Alan Cumming. Next, Nicole will appear alongside Cheyenne Jackson and Kevin Cahoon in “LA CAGE AUX FOLLES,” directed by Sam Pinkleton, at the Pasadena Playhouse. 

 

She is frequently recognized for her work as a series regular and contributing writer for six seasons of "MadTV," and can be seen appearing in "HOT IN CLEVELAND" alongside Betty White, “BAJILLION DOLLAR PROPERTIE$” and “KEY AND PEELE". She was cast as a series regular in the pilot “FRIENDS-IN-LAW” for NBC & Warner Brothers Television and voiced multiple characters in the Warner Bros. reboot of "WACKY RACES". She went on to work with Jordan Peele again in his film "US" and can be seen in Judd Apatow's "FUNNY PEOPLE". 

 

She sold a pilot she wrote to HBO in 2018 and produced the web series “PILOT SEASON” in 2017.  She also co-hosts the improvised comedy podcast with Paul F. Tompkins, "THE NEIGHBORHOOD LISTEN", and appears as a guest vocalist with symphonies around the country including the National Symphony, Philly Pops and The Cincinnati Pops.
