JOE RUMRILL

Joe Rumrill is a fictional, one-eyed sailor created in 1929 by E.C Segar - Wait, no that's not right...Oh, here we go: Joe Rumrill is a stand up comedian, writer, actor and voice actor currently based in Los Angeles. He currently provides the voice of Bibo, Julio Torres' robot assistant on HBO's hit comedy series FANTASMAS. With an absurdist comic persona honed in the Brooklyn alternative comedy scene, Joe has been described as "a pure mix of Mitch Hedberg and Pee-Wee Herman" (by Chris Gethard) "a wholesome lunatic" (by a former manager) and "you looked like you were having a blast up there" (by various audience members in lieu of an actual compliment.)

He has appeared on THE CHRIS GETHARD SHOW, multiple episodes of its subsequent off-shoot CHRIS GETHARD PRESENTS, and the Cocoon Central Dance Team film SNOWY BING BONGS. He has performed stand up in the Brooklyn Comedy Festival and at Comedy Central's Clusterfest, as well as such illustrious venues as Caroline's on Broadway, The Bell House, 54 Below, and Dynasty Typewriter. He co-created and wrote the Audible Original series LEM CAN HELP  starring Fred Armisen. His pilot script "One Small Step", co-written with collaborator Lucas Gardner, was an official selection of the New York Television Festival. He is a frequent contributor to the music satire publication The Hard Times, where he draws from his past experience in the Connecticut punk and experimental music scene.

As of this writing, he is housebroken and has had all his shots, but will still claw the furniture to assert dominance when in the vicinity of other weird comedians.
