ADDISON ANDERSON

Addison Anderson is an actor and writer based in New York working in film, sketch, improv, standup, and voiceover. He was most recently a Senior Writer on the Emmy and WGA Award-nominated animated series Stephen Colbert Presents Tooning Out The News (Comedy Central), where he also contributed as a voice actor. Addison’s work has appeared on PBS, Amazon, truTV, UCB Comedy, MTV2, BRIC TV, and the AV Club. He co-wrote and starred in Trivia Night (Winner — Best Feature at the Omaha Film Festival) and wrote Shut Eye (Winner — Best Horror Short at the Montreal Independent Film Festival).

 

He’s shot over 100 comedy sketches with Local Empire as an Above Average affiliate creator, explained the universe to over 18 million subscribers as the voice of TED-Ed, and studied at the UCB, PIT, Atlantic Acting School, and Linklater Center. He’s originally from San Francisco, and one time the mayor blew hot wax in his face.
