Ruby Kakar is an American actress who is known for her prominent work on Indian Television Shows and in Indian Cinema. She is best known for her esteemed role in the historical drama, Porus, which aired on Sony Entertainment Television. The show is documented as being the most expensive show airing on Indian Television.

 

Born and raised in New York City, she couldn’t ignore a fascination she had with Bollywood cinema and decided to take up an offer to play a ditzy NRI on the television series, Purvai Ek Nayi Aasha. Soon after reaching India, she was approached for multiple commercial advertisements and has since worked with names like Aamir Khan and Amit Trivedi.
