Ariana Aftahi

Ariana Aftahi is a Brooklyn based actor, signer, and producer, originally from the Washington, DC metro area. She has performed with several DC regional theaters, including Studio Theatre, Smithsonian Discovery Theater, Adventure Theatre, and the Kennedy Center, seen in commercials for brands like Marshalls, Mercari, and Hilton Hotels, and appeared in various industrials, films, and television productions. Over the past five years Ariana has also worked on theatrical and special event production teams at leading New York and DC performance venues, including The Lucille Lortel Theatre, The Kennedy Center, the Shakespeare Theatre Company, and Arena Stage. She is currently a producer for the in-production documentary Remaining Native.

 

Ariana is of Iranian and Polish descent and her multi-cultural upbringing has largely inspired her love for art, storytelling, and the entertainment industry. She is passionate about projects and organizations that champion diversity and innovation, inspire new ideas, and utilize storytelling in its many forms to celebrate and broaden our understanding of the human experience.

 

Ariana holds a BA in Musical Theatre and a BA in Public Communication from American University. Ariana has continued her acting training at the Atlantic Acting School in New York City.
